Job Description
As a Trim Saw Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by removing honeycomb blocks from frames after coating and curing, dismantling frames, and preparing them for storage. This entry-level position involves operating machinery to trim blocks to specific dimensions and ensure the quality of finished products. You will also be responsible for production documentation and maintaining a clean workspace.
Responsibilities
- Remove honeycomb blocks from frames after coating and curing.
- Dismantle frames and relocate them for storage according to requirements.
- Load blocks onto the saw table using a forklift and secure them in place.
- Label blocks with the required lot number using appropriate methods.
- Operate the saw to trim unusable sections from blocks.
- Store trimmed blocks in designated areas.
- Machine panels to specified dimensions and palletize them for shipping.
- Complete production documentation and quality control checks.
- Perform housekeeping activities to maintain a clean work environment.
- Participate in operational improvement activities.
Essential Skills- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills and organizational ability.
- Willingness to work as a team member.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
- Forklift operation certification may be required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting with assistance.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
