SUMMARY
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will assist in the supervision of employees and must comply with all safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform such individual assignments as the Supervisor may direct as needed; establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department; maintain professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.
· Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair basic plumbing, welding, mechanical, machines, industrial motor control, hydraulic air circuitry, fire suppression systems, boilers and HVAC.
· Perform a wide variety of maintenance/basic electrical projects, including small tool repair.
· Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.
· Work from verbal & written instructions, drawings, equipment manuals, etc.
· Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Complete work order data.
· Update and enter work order system. All other duties as assigned.
