Contract Position
$24.56/Hour
Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.
Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting support on Abrams Fleet Vehicles and other tracked/wheeled military vehicles.
Provide input on program planning, maintenance schedules, and techniques.
Support Field Service Representatives with the identification and resolution of technical problems.
Assist with vehicle modifications and routine service tasks.
Maintain tools, safety protocols, and accountability for assigned equipment.
Complete other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1+ year of direct maintenance experience on Abrams Tanks (M1A1ED, M1A2 SEP V2, M104, HAB).
Must be a U.S. person and able to gain access to U.S. military installations.
Must possess a valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a tank driver’s license, if required.
Ability to travel to other military or field sites within the U.S.
Must meet anthropometric requirements for operating and entering military vehicles.
Capable of working at heights, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing physically demanding tasks including climbing, kneeling, and stooping in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
Proficient in Microsoft applications and familiar with general maintenance documentation tools.
