AIRCRAFTINSPECTOR
JOBDESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for thereturn to service of all assigned articles to include completion of all workorders and all other required documentation from pre-planning to delivery ofthe aircraft.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
A. AIRCRAFTINSPECTOR
1. Conduct all inspectionsof airframes, engines, components and modifications utilizing the relevanttools and/or equipment, as applicable, to ensure conformity with specificationsand standards as defined in the repair station manuals.
2. Accomplish all assignedinspection tasks, including maintenance, avionics, and fabrication inspections,and associated documentation review, while maintaining liaison with maintenanceand/or production personnel in order to expedite the maintenance and/ormodification operation.
3. Use precise measuringand test equipment.
4. Audit task cards,non-routines and associated work order package documentation prior to releaseof aircraft.
5. Ensure log book/researchis completed. Review all entries and other required documentation whichaccurately records the maintenance and/or modification performed.
6. Complete AD research asnecessary.
7. Receive paperwork fromMaintenance Lead to ensure documentation is completed and ready in conjunctionwith delivery of the aircraft.
8. Review completeddocumentation of work performed by others, conducts inspections and performsfunctional tests as needed. Sign off as “Inspected By”.
9. Compute weight andbalance data and revise equipment lists.
10. Other duties notspecifically covered herein but otherwise assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS,EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC:
1. A&Plicense required; High School Diploma.
2. Thoroughknowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, Service Bulletins, RSM andapplicable FAR Directives and FAA regulations.
3. 1year Inspection or Limited Inspector experience is desirable
4. 5+years as an A&P Technician
5. Abilityto read, write, speak and understand the English language.
6. Abilityto read and interpret blueprints, aircraft drawings, wiring diagrams and otherengineering documentation.
7. ValidPassport
REQUIRED SKILLS ANDABILITIES:
1. Proficient knowledge andexpertise with all aspects of Maintenance and Inspection procedures.
2. Strong knowledge ofRSQM, FAR and FAA guidelines for airworthiness.
3. Strong knowledge ofcomputers and related software.
4. Familiarity with foreignairworthiness regulations such as EASA would be an advantage.
5. Willing to work overtimewith little or no notice.
6. Willing to work Shifts.

The work environmentdescribed here is representative of those required by an employee to performthe essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations.
The location where thisposition works is in an aircraft hangar environment which is subject to weatherchanges, constant exposure to loud noise, potential contact with hazardouswaste material and other safety hazards such as aircraft, steps, interior components:divans, chairs, other cabinets etc.

INTRODUCTORY PERIOD
Please note that you will be on a ninety (90) day probation, duringwhich your performance will be evaluated. Comlux shall periodicallyreview your performance and ability to perform each of the essential functionsof your position identified above prior to the expiration of the probationaryperiod. If you fail to pass the performance review or display behavioralissues or fail to meet expectations for reporting to work on time as scheduled,you shall be considered as having failed to qualify for continued employmentduring the probationary period, in which case Comlux shall be entitled toimmediately terminate your employment.
