Responsibilities
This position is based in Ansty Park, Coventry, UK with accountability for approximately 800 team members across three manufacturing sites and leadership of a HR team size of 8. This role will report directly to EMEA HR within Aerospace Group and you will partner closely with various Division HR Managers. You will work closely with the Site Operations Lead, site Leadership and Value Stream Leaders to ensure that business objectives are achieved in line with the Parker WIN Strategy. A key part of the role is to develop the HR team and to support business growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a HR leader looking to work in a fast-paced state of the art manufacturing facility, who can drive the team with a variety of projects to deliver.
Your day-to-day / What we are expecting from you / Your responsibilities
- Champion and embed a Safety-First culture across the business
- Drive employee engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, high performance and development, ensuring senior leaders are accountable for people initiatives
- Act as a credible business partner to Site Operations, site Leadership and Value Stream Leaders, while supporting HR projects across Parker Meggitt Ansty Park and the UK
- Lead site-wide communications in line with Corporate standards, and design and implement people strategies aligned to Parker Meggitt’s Annual Improvement Priorities
- Ensure HR best practice, compliant policies/processes, and robust HR analytics and data insights (including the HR Team Improvement Board) to inform decisions and track performance
- Lead annual pay negotiations and union relationships, oversee reward decisions (pay, promotions, T&Cs) and be accountable for accurate monthly payroll sign-off
Who we are looking for
- Degree-qualified HR professional with extensive senior-level HR management and business partnering experience
- Proven, credible business leader with strong commercial acumen and a track record of enhancing organisational performance
- Skilled in balancing strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery, maintaining a strong results focus and attention to detail
- Strong communicator and influencer at all levels, able to delegate effectively and drive a high-performance, accountability-led culture
- Experienced in leading HR in complex, unionised environments, building constructive relationships with representatives and stakeholders.
