None/Not RequiredThis position is for a professional in Program Management who works independently, leads small/medium programs and teams, manages the customer interface and relationship, analyzes data, leads risk and opportunity management, recommends resolutions for program problems, manages vendors, maintains progress reports, and participates in contract negotiation.
This role is eligible for relocation support.
What You Will Do:
Works autonomously with limited oversight responsible for P&L ownership over projects and programs by developing program plans, schedules and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility
Analyzes data and monitors programs to ensure adherence to contract scope of work, cost, schedule and technical specifications
Leads program management content for business development activity
Develops, maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project/program to internal executive leadership and customers, including but not limited to Program Management Reviews
Proactively identifies and addresses risks and develops solutions to problems which require critical thinking, creativity, and innovation
Leads program work with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with the program objectives to deliver on-time within the allocated P&L proposed on the program or project
Participates in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes
Directs all program phases from inception through completion.
Interfaces with customers on project specifications and requirements to ensure successful project scoping and confirmation of targets.
Manages the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule and performance of company programs
Reporting and KPI monitoring
Travel up to 10 of the time
Qualifications You MUST Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience
Experience in program management methods (e.g. project scheduling, cost control, change management, risk management, earned value)
Qualifications We Prefer:
PMP Certification
Program management experience leading cross functional teams, ideally with with operations, manufacturing & engineering organizations
Experience using Integrated Project Scheduling software
Experience with software BaaN, SAP, JD Edwards
Proficiency with MS Office skills (especially MS Project)
Applied experience in product development and / or project management

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
