MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will be an experienced maintenance leader with strong regulatory knowledge, leadership capability, and a proven track record in aircraft maintenance management. Other qualifications include:
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must hold a current FAA mechanic certificate with both an Airframe and Powerplant rating.
- Must meet the requirements of 14 CFR § 119.67(c).
- Must have one year of experience in a position responsible for returning airplanes to service.
- Must have at least one year of supervisory experience and at least five years of experience in the past six years in one or more of the following:
- Maintaining large airplanes with 10+ passenger seats, including at the time of appointment as Director of Maintenance
- Maintaining aircraft in the same category/class as used by the certificate holder
- Repairing aircraft in a certificated airframe repair station rated for similar category/class aircraft
- Must have working knowledge of the maintenance sections of the Company’s Operations Specifications and applicable 14 CFR Part 121 maintenance provisions.
- Must have recent experience that satisfies 14 CFR § 119.67(c) requirements at the time of appointment.
- Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS).
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft.
