Role PurposeResponsible for maintaining and managing an efficient and effective maintenance operation of the Cabin Interior Maintenance (CIM) and Mechanical Interior Workshop in accordance with company policies and procedures. This role also includes overseeing Cabin Interior activities for Base Maintenance, ensuring high standards of quality, workmanship, and operational performance for all aircraft interior components.
Key Accountability- Establish and maintain an effective organizational structure, systems, and processes for Cabin Interior Maintenance (CIM) and Mechanical Interior Workshop to ensure compliance with regulatory and company quality standards.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies to ensure high-quality, on-time completion of aircraft maintenance checks, repairs, and overhaul of components, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure timely and compliant completion and certification of all maintenance tasks in accordance with work specifications and approved procedures.
- Oversee personnel competency by ensuring all staff are adequately trained, certified, and updated with the latest maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure sufficient manpower and competency levels are maintained to support operational needs, with strict adherence to safety policies and human factors principles.
Qualifications & Working Experience- Holder of aircraft maintenance license acceptable to CAA Malaysia and/or Degree in Engineering/Business Administration or other relevant studies.
- Minimum 7 years experience in the airline engineering industry, with more than 5 years experience in leadership role in a Part 145 environment.
