Reporting to the Sales Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for influencing sales growth in a given territory.
Territories: North Shore (Laval, Montreal East and North, Laurentians, Lanaudière, Abitibi)
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a business relationship with accounts;
- Contribute to increasing sales in the designated territory by developing a business development plan;
- Analyze monthly sales reports and follow up with accounts;
- Initiate marketing strategies, promote the Transat brand and win market share;
- Effectively communicate information about existing and new Transat products, sales and promotions;
- Evaluate training needs and actively participate in the training of Travel Consultants;
- Keep up-to-date on the full range of products offered by Transat and Air Transat;
- Lead and participate in various familiarization trips with travel agencies;
- Assist travel agencies with problem files;
- Provide sales department management with competitive analysis for its territory;
- Participate in promotional activities including trade shows and travel industry events (Transat Academies, conferences or any other event);
- Gather information on market conditions and understand the market;
- Work closely with the sales teams in Montreal, Toronto and all other Transat stakeholders;
- Manage social networks, such as the Facebook page;
- Responsible for the efficient management of his/her territory, recording activities in the CRM.

*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
