What are your contributions to the team?
- Oversee version control and release tracking of courseware documents
- Maintain technical currency across Bombardier programs and regulatory updates
- Provide OEM technical guidance on training development and regulations
- Monitor and report courseware readiness metrics for new programs
- Manage Authorized Training Provider audit and support internal audit activities
- Support the creation of national reports for program certification
- Recommend courseware improvements based on internal and external input
- Respond to training-related customer feedback and action items
- Review and contribute to updates of flight manuals and related training documents
- Represent BTS in ATP courseware design and development reviews
- Appraise and communicate aircraft changes impacting training programs
- Coordinate ATP access to Bombardier facilities for courseware development
How to thrive in this role?
- 15+ years in aviation flight/maintenance or training; 2+ years supervisory experience preferredFamiliarity with Quality Assurance and Safety Management Systems in aviation training
- Aircraft Maintenance diploma or equivalent industry experience
- Expert understanding of regulatory requirements for training certification
- In-depth knowledge of aviation maintenance and avionics systems
- Solid analytical and decision-making abilities
- Advanced technical presentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe FrameMaker, and PDF editing tools
- Operational insight into airline or business aviation environments
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems and pilot flight operations
- Proven experience in developing computer-based and instructor-led courseware
- Transport Canada AME license or equivalent certification
