  • Author and review technical documentation including specifications, test procedures, and certification plans.
  • Participate in certification activities, supporting communications with regulatory authorities (TCCA, FAA, EASA) to ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements.
  • Support issue resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective actions during development, production, and in-service phases.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating lessons learned into future designs and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in aircraft mechanical systems engineering, preferably with transport-category or regional aircraft.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., FAR/CS Part 25, ARP4754A, DO-160, etc.).
  • Experience with system modeling, requirements management, and risk assessment tools.
  • Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems and engineering change management processes.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional environments and complex technical projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Dash 8 aircraft, Twin Otter and CL415 aircraft design and operation is a strong asset.
