As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out maintenance tasks under the supervision of the Production Manager and provide mentorship to apprentices. You will conduct scheduled inspections according to the customer work package, identify and document findings, ensure compliance through inspections and audits, complete maintenance releases, participate in company SMS, report hazards or incidents, and maintain a clean work area with FOD vigilance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled inspections according to the customer work package.
- Identify and document findings resulting from inspections.
- Perform inspections of work to ensure compliance.
- Audit documentation of work performed to ensure compliance.
- Complete maintenance releases for work performed.
- Participate in company SMS and report hazards or incidents in accordance with company reporting procedures.
- Maintain a clean work area and exercise FOD vigilance.
Essential Skills- Repair and maintenance of aircraft.
- Experience in line maintenance and heavy maintenance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with a license (can be a mix of line and heavy maintenance).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience without a license.
- Endorsed on Q400 or minimum of 3 years of experience on ERJ 175, Dash 8, Q400.
- Inspection and troubleshooting skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Transport Canada AME License in the M Category.
- Experience on Dash-8 Q400, Classic Dash 8, or CRJ100/200/700/900 aircraft, Boeing 737 (all series), and Embraer E170/175 aircraft (preferred).
- Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions from Aircraft Manuals and Publications related to Aircraft Maintenance.
- Mechanical aptitude and mechanical experience.

Work Environment
Work on heavy maintenance lines, including Dash 8 Q400, Dash 8 100/300, CRJ100/200/700/900 aircraft, with recent approval for Boeing 737 (all series) and Embraer E170/175 aircraft. Day shift is from 7am to 3:30pm, and contractors can choose to work additional hours. The facility closes for a Christmas break from December 20th to January 6th.
