Job Description

Perform maintenance primarily on Boeing 767 cargo planes. Ensure aircraft maintenance is conducted in compliance with FAA, manufacturer, and company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul, maintain, and repair airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment, and associated components in accordance with company and manufacturer manuals.
• Sign for work accomplished.
• Remain constantly alert for defective, worn, or failed parts as well as safe working conditions.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the work area and repairing company property.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisors or higher management.
• Exercise authority under the RII provisions, directly accountable to the Director of Quality Control.
• Attend all company training classes as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.

• A&P License
• Minimum of 2 years of Heavy Jet aircraft maintenance experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working on Boeing aircraft
• Heavy maintenance experience

Work Environment

Work schedule rotates between Week 1 (Sunday to Wednesday, 1600-0400) and Week 2 (Sunday to Tuesday, 4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off). Work primarily outdoors with candidates expected to bring their own basic set of tools and operate from mobile cases or trucks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, Illinois.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
