Arconic is currently in search of a Storeroom Inventory Specialist to join our Davenport Works facility based out of Davenport, IA.

Job Summary:
In this role you will analyze inventory levels, assist in storeroom activities, and implement inventory control protocols to ensure no production and facility maintenance down-time, in accordance with Arconic procurement standards.
In this role, you will:
- Analyze storeroom inventory data, recommendation, and implementation of min-max level within the Oracle Inventory Optimization Tool
- Analyze and provide recommendations of excess and obsolescence inventory
- Utilize the Oracle and related systems for Receiving and Stores Management
- Coordinate internal material returns to storeroom
- Coordinate external suppliers for resolving receiving errors or exceptions on purchase orders
- Assist with storage and disbursement of stores MRO materials to optimize the processes for receipt and disbursement, while keeping materials undamaged
- Coordinate material returns with outside suppliers
- Day-to-day operations of the MSO (Misc. Shipping Order) system
- Works with corporate resources when updates to items in the Oracle system are required (such a lead time, FLM’s and MOQ’s).
- Other storeroom related activities include:
- Assist in resolving any pending inventory transactions
- Assist with freight claim resolutions
- Be the contact to help find needed stores items from other Arconic plants and respond to requests for stores items DPW may have that other plants may need
- Assist users trying to find storeroom material as needed
You have:
- High School diploma or GED
- Two (2) years related experience in inventory control, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing or distribution
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding and knowledge of general inventory functions for an industrial facility, such as Davenport Works operations
- Specific knowledge of Oracle or similar Inventory applications
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and data mining, ability to translate data into conclusions or actions for improvement, including Macros, Filters, V-Lookups, and Pivot Tables
- Associates degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution
