What You Will Do:

The role of Associate Director of Material Planning Acceleration requires a unique blend of skill, systems knowledge, and leadership to successfully deliver the companys objectives. As such, the individual must possess a level of expertise in MRP and ERP systems, materials requirements planning, item master, demand planning, S&OP, S&OE, and supply chain planning analytics.

This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across functions to harmonize policies, improve S&OP processes, and accelerate the planning system.

This individual and their team will be responsible for the following:

• Use CORE to simplify and harmonize processes

• Drive the acceleration of the MRP process to ensure timely material availability

 • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain operations with business objectives.

• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the S&OP and S&OE processes.

• Provide leadership and guidance to the material planning team, fostering a culture of excellence.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of twelve (12) years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of twelve (10) years’ experience.

Experience and track record of executive stakeholder management.

Understanding of planning elements/fundamentals

Leadership experience managing people/teams.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Master’s degree in a related field

Experience in Supply Chain (experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Planning in an environment of both manufactured and sourced finished goods highly preferred).

Knowledge and experience in MRP and ERP systems - inventory control, materials requirements planning, item master, demand planning, and advanced supply chain planning and analytics preferred.

APICS Certification preferred.

Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills, including multi-tasking and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, follow up and attention to details.

Adaptable to multiple requests, daily changes, while still delivering on commitments.

Data-driven with demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems and strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Must be able to work independently while still functioning well in a team environment.

Able to communicate effectively with senior management, peers, and colleagues cross-functionally.

People management experience including strong interpersonal and leadership skills: meeting facilitation, skill sharing and training, organization, conflict management, change agent, manage relationships.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
