This role is onsite in Fort Worth, Texas.

Manufacturing Technology Center Quality Team

Bell is seeking a Quality Engineer to support operations at our MTC facility located in Fort Worth, Texas.

In this position you will participate in the development, execution, and oversite of products and processes used in the manufacturing environment to ensure robust and cost-effective designs.


What you will be doing as a Senior Quality Engineer:
  • Quality Program Planning and Management
  • Develop, calculate, and report out on a variety of Quality metrics
  • Independently conduct process audits
  • Leading Corrective Action and Continuous Improvement Process efforts
  • Utilizing Quality Management Systems, Records, & Data
  • Collaborate with and support military and commercial customers
  • Validate Manufacturing Corrective Actions
  • Research, development and testing new inspection technologies
  • Facilitating and maintaining project management records for the incorporation of technologies
  • Conduct comprehensive engineering analysis using Descriptive Statistics, including the interpretation and application of Probability Distributions and Discrete distributions to support data-driven decision-making in engineering projects.
  • Review and assess Quality Drawings and 3D models for accuracy, design specifications, and compliance with standards, providing feedback and recommendations for improvements.
Job Requirements:
Skills You Bring to This Role:
  • Problem Solving - Demonstrates root-cause analysis
  • Familiarity with AS9100 Quality Management System requirements
  • Familiarity with inspection processes and techniques
  • Demonstrated ability and comfort level to deliver presentations to peers, customers, and upper management
  • Business Acumen - Understands how business works, acquiring knowledge in current policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the organization
  • Six Sigma Blackbelt certification preferred
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
What you need to be successful:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • At least 5 years of directly related quality experience in the aerospace industry
  • Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)” training and or experience is preferred
  • Experience with Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) is a plus
    • IIoT Systems – Connected & Edge devices - digital integration, machine data sharing, edge analytics (system driven execute – verify – adjust), etc..  Able to lead from reactive to predictive to prescriptive analytics
    • Digital SPC systems and strategies
    • Mobile tech integration – IPAD, AR
    • Controlling Data Streams – Data Lakes
  • Quality Audit experience is preferred
  • Military experience is a plus
  • Machine parts and gear manufacturing experience preferred
