Boeing Global Services (BGS), Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business is looking for an Experienced Engineer Technical Specialist (Level 4) to join our team in Toulouse, France.
The Experienced Engineer Technical Specialist provides consultative guidance in the development, documentation and implementation of the application and compliance of engineering tools, processes and standards. Facilitates training initiatives and provides subject matter expertise in the utilization of complex processes, tools and integration of engineering designs. Ensures regulatory requirements are met. Serves as Company subject matter expert for configuration management of product standards. Serves as prime spokesperson and represents Company interests on external standards committees. Monitors and oversees the collection, analysis and validation of engineering performance metrics and coordination of organizational requirements to support business needs. Works under consultative direction.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the above listed location.
Position Responsibilities:
Support OEM and its afterspanet customers with engineering support
Investigation of alternative solutions
Manage specific program and acting as customer technical interface.
Assistance for Initial Provisioning, Recommended Spares Part List
Be the focal point of contact and participate to committees BNAE/DIN/ISO
Provides technical support to internal and external customers.
Supports the procurement department with sourcing.
Provides expertise on OEM product after spanet. Expertise product versus OEM application.
Identify the best products for our business.
Support the supplier and product rationalization. Resolve customer issues, identify and implement customer strategy for optimized productivity. New platforms to support enhancement.
Primary Technical Support for internal and external customer
Find projects opportunities and track them

Monitor Engineering Support Activities and propose improvement plan.
Resolves customer issues, identify and implements customer strategy for optimized productivity
Perform different technology and spanet watches
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
8+ years of related work experience
Master degree or higher in Engineering
2+ years of experience working with OEMs product and documentation
Intermediate or higher proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
General understanding of the elements of the supply chain process, and understands the information flow throughout demand and supply planning process
Fluent in English (i.e. reading, writing, and verbal communication)
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and to adapt to rapid changing business
Experience presenting technical information to leadership, customers, and speaking in public
