Shape the Skies with Precision EngineeringPDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly motivated Engineer – Radio Frequency Microwave Design for a full-time, 12-month consulting opportunity in Baltimore, MD. This is your chance to work on cutting-edge aerospace systems, supporting the design, testing, and development of advanced RF and microwave technologies that power next-generation defense and communication systems.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
What You’ll DoAs an RF Microwave Design Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, ensuring the performance and reliability of complex antenna and communication systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up, calibrating, and operating RF, digital, and power equipment for production testing.
- Troubleshooting RF, digital, and power issues in advanced systems.
- Supporting and training technicians in test procedures and diagnostics.
- Analyzing test data to identify trends and support root cause investigations.
- Collaborating with design engineers to improve hardware and test processes.
- Monitoring product yields and driving improvements to meet program targets.
- Participating in cross-functional meetings to develop corrective actions and ensure quality standards.
What You BringBasic Qualifications (Choose the level that fits your experience):
RF Test and Development Engineer:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field + 2 years of experience, or Master’s with 0 years.
- Experience with RF hardware/software and test equipment (scopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
- Ability to read schematics and block diagrams.
Principal RF Test and Development Engineer:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field + 5 years of experience, or Master’s with 3 years.
- All qualifications listed above.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Engineering or related STEM field.
- Experience with LabWindows CVI, C/C++ programming.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in RF, analog, digital, and power systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $55.35 to $69.19 per hour
