JOB DESCRIPTION:

YOUR ROLE AS A:

Marketing Executive

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the planning, execution and optimization of local spaneting activities to drive brand growth and achieve business objectives. Enhance AirAsias brand through data analysis, cross-functional collaboration and creative spaneting.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

  • Marketing activity planning and execution

  • Responsible for the creation, development and execution of local spaneting & spanet development activities to achieve business objectives;

  • Responsible for overseeing the production of campaign materials to ensure the successful execution of campaigns;

  • Organize offline events such as workshops or focus groups for customer and merchant research

  • Data analysis and performance monitoring

  • Monitor, analyze and report campaign performance results against targets set by the business;

  • Use a variety of indicators to track activity progress and submit regular performance reports to ensure maximum spaneting effect.

  • Cross-departmental collaboration and branding

  • Works closely with MKT team, and support the MKT team, align plans to the business’s goals, direction and objectives;

  • Work closely with functional support teams in PR, Digital & Brand to align campaign schedules to ensure smooth execution and consistency in communications;

  • Act as a Brand Ambassador for AirAsia to build the awareness of AirAsia as a global brand in airline industry;

  • Market research and strategy support

  • Conduct spanet research and competitive analysis to assess industry trends, brand recognition and potential risks to inform decision making.

  • Assist in developing innovative and efficient spaneting strategies and exploring low cost and high return promotion channels.

  • Content production and supplier management

  • Assist in creating diverse spaneting content (social media, promotional emails, EDM, etc.) to increase brand exposure.

  • Maintain cooperation with 3rd parties/vendors to ensure the smooth progress of resource support and events.

  • Assist with any ad-hoc day to day tasks as required by the team

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline;

  • More than 2 years relative experience; with airline, travel distribution or hospitality industries or similar consumer goods business is ideal;

  • A passionate and creative go-getter with the ability to work independently with supervision;

  • A commercial thinker with a keen sense of spanet & consumer trends;

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand business financials;

  • Previous experience in managing and executing spaneting campaigns, advertising campaigns, and social media with meticulous detail to attention;

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, both time and budgetary deadlines;

  • A love for travel, and a keen understanding of different cultures;

  • Ability and willingness to work across different time zones;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with foreigner;
