Oracle Database Administrator

Tasks

Import dumps of customer databases to internal database servers.
Perform data anonymization on imported customer databases in compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Remove outdated database imports and maintain a structured data lifecycle on internal servers.
Update and maintain the database-related documentation.
Support customer system migrations, ensuring data consistency and minimal downtime.
Install and configure Oracle databases for new customers who do not have in-house database administrators.
Set up and manage RMAN backups on customer systems.
Regularly verify that backups are completed successfully and that associated logs are correct.
Mirror customer databases between production and test environments.
Deploy Oracle database patches on customer systems as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, with the ability to manage production environments and perform standard Oracle administration tasks independently
Proficiency in Oracle Database installation, configuration, and administration.
Hands-on experience with RMAN backup and recovery management.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Data Pump (expdp/impdp) for data import and export.
Experience with database mirroring, cloning, and anonymization.
Awareness of data privacy requirements when handling and anonymizing customer data.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Business English.
