Responsibilities
This position is 100 onsite in Wichita, KS
At this time, Spirit AeroSystems is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for current or future sponsorship.
Key Accountabilities:
- Build and code solutions using tools such as C, JavaScript and SQL
- Use knowledge of computing technology, programming languages, and software development life cycles to develop, program, maintain, applications and application modules
- Work directly with managers and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and work well with a team
- Support 24x7 on-call rotation with other team meembers.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related field of study
- years’ related experience with a Bachelor’s
- 2 - 4 years experience with a Bachelors degree, 6 years related experience minimum without a degree
- Require knowledge of C, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, .Net, XML and SQL.
- Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15
- Ability to perform on-call rotation
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced thinking and problem-solving ability
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes
- Knowledge of Apriso
- Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Knowledge of cloud computing
- Knowledge in SAP or equivalent ERP system
- Script development
- Windows server expertise / certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain US department of defense clearance
