Raytheon is seeking a technical specialist to support the Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare. You will join the experienced delivery team working in the development, deployment and support of a Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare (MMEW) system to the ADF consisting of complex hardware and software solutions.

Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience designing electrical cabling for rack units and cabinets, including grouping signals, selecting cable type and connectors, and designing cable routes is essential.
• Drafting electrical interconnect and wire drawings for manufacture using AutoCAD Electrical (or similar) is essential.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplined team environment with system, mechanical and specialty engineers is essential.
• Experience making prototype / test cables using military connectors is desirable.
• Experience designing electrical systems such as interlocks, fan controllers, and indicators is desirable.
• Ability to take on the role of leading electrical design and integration work is desirable.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills essential.
• Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering, including the use of modelling tools (e.g. Cameo) is desirable
• Experience in a Defence related industry is desirable.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance up to NV -1 - eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
